What’s in your freezer?

Well if you are anything like me with more than one little one in the house, you never know what you are going to find and where you might find it!

The other day it was play-dough in my freezer.

Not just any play-dough but the brown colored kind that is a result of all the colors being mixed together. When I saw it I thought to myself, this makes perfect sense. Well, for me anyway. My life consists of finding poop colored play-dough in the freezer. Instead of getting upset I really can’t do anything other than laugh.

That is what I do to maintain my sanity, in the otherwise insane world that is three mini-princesses.

Sometimes you have no choice by to simply laugh at the confusion that is parenthood.

Some days you can go to sleep at the end of the day feeling you got it right and other days you feel like an absolute failure.

The goodness is at least a majority of the time, we moms aren’t doing as bad as we think we are. At least that’s what I tell myself now….I fear the day I look over to see three teenage girls who think they know everything, especially more than their mother.

One of the greatest lessons we can teach our kids is to laugh at ourselves.

Don’t take life so seriously.

Where is the fun in that?

Just yesterday #2 was complaining about school, mind you she is in Kindergarten, and I had to tell her — find the fun in it. Just like we do when we’re cleaning our rooms, put on some music and dance while doing it, or have a race to see who can finish the fastest.

Find the joy in everyday because sometimes life kinda sucks.

I mean if you can’t find the humor in play-dough that slightly resembles poop in your freezer, then what can you find humor in? 🙂

  1. Listening to music and dancing while cleaning is a must. It’s almost as if you aren’t even cleaning. I had a green cowboy hat and was using the mop as a microphone earlier this week. 🙂
